Excellent traditional pub with well kept beer and a great value home cooked menu
Great range of real ales and a really comfortable place to drink them.
Only friendly to regulars - four of us went for lunch. Indifferent reception Table next to us with "regulars" were served enormous portions of desert. When it came to us...it appeared like the scrapings of the dish had been divided over four plates. It felt they couldn't wait for us to leave.Maybe they thought we'd never return.I visit the area lots but shan't return to the Blue Raddle nor recommend it.
Excellent food, good choice of beer, cosy atmosphere & friendly staff. Regularly used by locals. Bar lady said she would see them coming through glass window of door and have their drink ready! You can't really ask for more?
A lovely little old-school pub. Just like you remember them being. Lots of nice beers on tap and a great menu, both meaty and veggie.Would recommend.
