Great pub, loads of good beers; clean, well managed. All the sport if you want it, but not in your face.Best pub in Dorchester, and I'm an occasional visitor from Bath, not a local.
Nice local pub with beer garden. Marstons beers so not getting anything special but great staff and very central.
Lovely old pub. Barman not the most talkative. But good choice of beers and wines.

Great food too!Just experienced an obvious,Unrelenting and extremely puzzling psychotic episode from the manager Chris, after following up on info that he originally told me, with regard to how he said that he allowed Dorset skittles to be played in one of the rooms of the pub.On the basis of his worrying animosity I will never frequentthe establishment again, and I recommend that you think thrice before doing so, also.The man is a psycho.. Period,!Shame, because apart from his negative presence, it's a pleasant place to be.. For 10seconds!!Dint bother going there, I totally revise my initialreport!!
