V simple, humble museum . Informative and well presented. The chap we met in the shop/office today was brilliant. Just the person needed for such an important museum and the birthplace of the union movement in our country. Hope to make it to the festival in July.
Absolutely fantastic; you come out looking for a barricade to man. I was able to buy a "Still hate Thatcher" mug for my friend.
Interesting eclectic collection about the martyrs and what they achieved for the working masses. Has now lost much of the 20th century trade union connatations. Its free to enter. But Please remember to donate. Tricky to find best follow the old road not the new one
Probably one of the best places to visit in Dorset. Spent a long time in the museum reading about the 'martyrs'. Very well presented in a lovely village.
Everyone, of whatever political persuasion, should visit this small but interesting museum. It's is well laid out and contains a wealth of information about the attitudes struck by the establishment and the efforts they went to to try and preserve what they felt was their dubious superiority.
