I bought a very nice used POLO from Heritage a year ago. Just had an MOT and service with them a week ago. Friendly and efficient reception staff and a good job done by the technicians. Identified issue with rear tyres, so got them to fit replacements for me at reasonable price. Also sorted window seal which was distorted. Very good at keeping customer informed of progress. I would recommend them.
I'm a big fan of VWs in general but would give it less than a star if I could. Customer Service is poor not even care for cars under the warranty. We bought a VW Golf from Heritage garage in Dorchester as an ex-demo car. Unfortunately the alloys are all pealing and flaky with massive corrosion on the edge (x4). I contacted VW HQ to talk to them regarding the warranty.Only finding that they didn't care at all for existing customers but also for car that they sell. It turn up that they don't want to know and saying alloys are not cover by the warranty - the car is done very little mileage still!!! After the big VW diesel scandal and what happen now I would recommend you stay well away from VWs and in particular the Heritage VW garage in Dorchester.
5 Star Service Recently bought a new car which I love It had to go into the Dorchester garage for a while (4 weeks) under warranty to have something replaced that was faulty . I was treated extremely well , top class service , updated on progress on a regular basis , was given a courtesy car instantly during the duration . When they were happy with my car , it was driven back to me at my place of work, and two days later I received the most wonderful hamper as a thank you for my patience and inconvenience of not having my car . Could not fault Heritage of Dorchester, have always been very happy with everything they have done for us , with our family of VW cars . Thank you to everyone
