Went to YC's cafe for lunch today,Sunday 13th Jan 2019,it was delicious with really good sized portions,however as we had also had a big breakfast at home that morning, we asked the waitress if we could take home the half a baguette each that we couldn't manage and she kindly packed them into a box to take home.My husband had mentioned it was my birthday so imagine our delight when we opened the box later that evening to find a lovely little chocolate cake inside! A really nice touch and very much appreciated . Thankyou also to the waitress who served us,not sure of her name but think it was Laura,very very good customer service. We will return !.

Smart place with a good menu. Coffee shop by day and restaurant by night. Good selection of cakes and breakfast options. Seats are a little uncomfortable but that's the only minor improvement I could find.

Lovely small local restaurant with very friendly and attentive service. Has a great steak and wine deal and good food theme nights that are very good value and popular. Good for tea and cake too!
