Very friendly ladies working today when we visited. Also very dog friendly which we love. Looking forward to the summer so we can sit out in the garden again.
My ham, egg and chips was excellent. My partner's brie and bacon sandwich was a bit "heavy duty" - the bread was cut really thick which made it hard going. Staff were apologetic but weren't able to make any changes. Our tea and coffee were excellent. Will definitely go again.
Microwaved jacket potatoes did not make a good base for the delicious mushrooms in stilton sauce. It's a nice cafe though and very warm. The staff are friendly and table service makes it appealing if you're tired from shopping!!
We visited today and we're very happy with the visit. The staff were friendly, the cakes were lovely, and coffee at least as good as the high street chains. There was a log fire burning in the downstairs seating area which was nice to sit alongside. Well worth a visit if you want to venture just off the main shopping precinct.
A lovely venue, with a nice little walled garden. A great place to stop shopping and get a drink and slice of cake. I did not have hot food but what they served others did look very good.
