Popped by on a Sunday but was too late, however, the owner was still in the shop so opened up and served me. Really friendly lady with a great range of provisions in the shop. Visited here the next day to buy food for lunch. Bread was fresh and went well with the Somerset brie and pate I bought. Reasonable prices and great service. Fab!
This shop has all the basic needs for a young women who doesnt drive! Snacks, pies, meals and many more! I enjoy going into the shop for a natter with the friendly staff! The post office is very helpful and accommodating for the village! I thoroughly enjoy going in for my pasties which sometimes I am lucky enough to have straight from the oven after the school run! Thank you for keeping this shop well ran and welcoming!
I visit this shop on a regular basis with my son! Plenty of magazines for him to read! Very well run by kind people, I enjoy going in for my daily freshly cooked sausage roll! Will continue going there regularly!
Very disappointed with this shop today and due to a VERY rude lady telling my sister to leave the shop because she took her dog in.. Maybe I'm highly mistaken, but when I saw a dog bowl in the middle of the shop floor full of water I assumed they were allowed in..? Such a shame as every other shop/pub in Cerne is dog friendly. - in reply to your response.. If that was being friendly then I wouldn't want to see you rude. Not a problem, we know where not to shop from now on. Many thanks.
Jenny July 18.I make my clothes but they are never perfect because my shape is nothing like average. I asked susie if she would measure me and make a pattern block This she did and also made a calico top for me to try on. I now have a perfect block for my size and I am so grateful. Finally I can get it right. Thanks you so much.
