I think the doctors here are great and very friendly. Good at putting you at ease.
My wife and I highly recommend this excellent G.P. practice. We are able to compare the service here with a number of G.P surgeries in several parts of the U.K.over the last 8 years. Prince of Wales is streets ahead. The main strengths are The Doctors who epitomise the contents of the GMC's "Duties of a Doctor", Reception with their friendly efficiency, very good Time-keeping, and Accessibility with plenty of parking. We might have had to wait for this standard of service for a long time but it was worth it.

Almost impossible to get an appointment if you work, due to the ridiculous restrictions on when they "release" appointments and when you are allowed to get past the gatekeepers and actually book one. You seem to be spoken to like if you can't attend the one time they offer you, you don't need to be seen at all. You then have to face comments that you are being "difficult" when you advise that you work in a different town so are restricted to when you can get there, but it's not an emergency so you can't justify messing your employer around.
I have been with Prince of Wales practice for over twenty years and feel that they are a great practice, yes there are different personalities amongst the staff, however the Doctors, Nurses, Health Workers and reception team I feel do a great job considering the constraints they are under, particularly with our ageing population (which includes me). We are a family of five and recommend them very highly. Particular praise to both Dr Scotts and Dr Milliner.
