Excellent shower block better than most hotels

We stayed here for 2 weeks. We pitched at the top of the hill. The view over the fields was beautiful and the sheep roaming was nice to watch whilst relaxing outside our trailer tent. The shop on site was OK but could do with a shake up of what it sells. We had a car trouble whilst there and the site Ower was very helpful and we got the problem sorted at a local garage. The shower and toilet bloke was lovely. Would go as far to say that it's one of the best we have ever had whilst camping and we have been going for 9 years now.The only thing that stopped me giving it 5 * is the gravel paths / hard standing pitches and the pot holes in the grass which are really had to see x

My family and I have just returned from a two week stay at Brewery farm campsite. We stayed in our trailer tent on a hard standing electric pitch. We loved the views from the front of our tent (by far the best we have ever had), waking up to hear and see the working farm and sheep around us added to the countryside feeling and made it more special. The toilet/shower/washing facilities were the best we have experienced in the 9 years we have been camping around the UK.Our dog was allowed off lead if well behaved which was a first for us and definately a bonus. We were welcomed and given all the local information we needed about places to visit. The only reason we did not award the full 5 stars is because we felt that having gravel paths instead of concrete created alot of uneven walking and especially during the night travelling to the facilities this was dangerous. Alot of the grassy area around our pitch were full of hidden holes and there was a wasps nest closeby.Lastly, although the washing up sink was lovely it created a problem when more than one family used it at the same time due to it being one plug hole for all 4 sets of taps so everyones washing up became muddled. Those minor issues aside we wouldnt hesitate to book to stay here again if we were in the area.Thank you to all the staff at Brewery farm.
