Well what should I say about this cafe . I think its small dark creepy spooky weird damp eerie unwelcome gloomy depressing cafe I ever know don't let me start with the staff a customer was choking on a egg sandwich and the staff just looked at him and waited for 4 second and helped him the cafe was not busy at all it was lunch time at 1.30pm on a Monday 2016 September I will never go back there again trust me I won't .
Really friendly service, great home made food and cakes, good selection of nice steong coffee.
Food was bland and tasteless, coffee tasted of sour milk. The only good thing was that the staff were cheery.
Well located to the town's museum and shopping lanes this cafe really is a gem !!!. Good old fashioned friendly service , felt like part of the family on our first visit . If you want to experience the cafe experience of bye gone days when the staff treated you like people and the food is well prepared to a high standard then this could be the one you have been looking for, cake lovers paradise and good coffee, plus polite staff and sensible prices, children were made more than welcome and well catered for. Good old fashioned traditional cafe a must for the serious cake and coffee lovers.
Great staff. Really helpful and managed to get a picky 4year old to eat something! Great food and lovely people makes for a great lunch!!
